The Leede Research Group has been conducting branding research since 1984. This has ranged from simple tracking of awareness and positioning, to detailed brand assessment studies. The work includes both qualitative and quantitative programs that offer the client full customization.

In 2007, Leede developed a new approach to branding research that takes advantage of the highly successful Customer Value Analysis process. This integrates the work with proprietary tools that help determine the value of the brand and how it compares to key competitors. Leede has also developed a new system for proof-point testing that allows for the development of successful branding and communications platforms.
